SFIDC sponsors a fully staffed Logistics function for the purpose of supporting:

bulletThe Center's Initial Attack and All-Risk functions
bulletLocal Wildland and All-Risk Cooperators
bulletNeighboring Wildland Management Agencies in Western Nevada and Northeastern California
bulletWildland fires and National disasters throughout the United States

All emergency resources that are not available locally or currently staffed are obtained through the logistics function, with the exception of aircraft.  The logistics function utilizes the Incident Command System (ICS) to obtain and manage fire suppression and disaster mitigation resources.
